Ruby City Train Station
Jan. 11th, 2014 03:39 amStepping off the train and onto the platform beyond, golden eyes lifted to silently study the station around him. When he'd first came to on the train as it was pulling in, Fuuma had briefly entertained the idea he had been pulled into a dreamscape. After all it was the only way that one could explain his going from standing over Kamui, Shinken in hand, to waking up on the train with holy sword instead. As he stepped out into the station however, it didn't take long to disabuse himself of the idea.
The mystery of where he was and how he had ended up here grew more when he noted the unexpected quiet where there hadn't been any such quiet for the last several months. Either something had occurred to silence or change the Earth's wish, or he was no longer on it. Since he rather doubted the former, that left the other, despite how impossible it sounded.
Once his mind turned to his surroundings more than the mystery of them, he noticed a weight in his pants pocket. Reaching in to pull the object out, he noted silently the object appeared to be like a watch but was nothing like any watch he'd ever seen.
He returned his gaze back to the station around him after investigating the watch as much as one could with no free hands and decided to check out out the posters he saw hanging on the far wall. Perhaps they might hold answers to some of the questions he held about this place and the situation he now found himself in.
